Well. I think the test may be over.
I ate normal, gluten filled foods for the last two days, and today I've felt awful.
Absolutely zero energy or motivation
So cranky
And my eyes felt hugely puffy.
/Maybe it's a placebo effect.
But if I can live a life with consistency and stability - then who cares.
Back to gluten free tomorrow.

Gluten Free Test - Day 9
Slept 8 hours
: Woke up wishing I could sleep more. But I only woke up once. Also - the dreams only started after that one time waking up
Breakfast:
- PB - Blueberry Smoothie
- Earl Grey
- Iron Pill
Lunch:
- Hummus
- Carrots
- Piece of home made granola bar
Snack:
-Chia Pudding
- Raspberry lime puree
Dinner:
-Roasted green beans, potatoes and onions
- Fried rice with cheese
Snack:
-Frozen cashew and chocolate dessert
-Earl grey tea :)
There's nothing saying for sure that being gluten free is helping me - but I definitely feel more stable. Less depressed . . . Coincidence?

GF Test - Day 8
Wake: 8am - 9 hours sleep
: Only woke up twice during the night. Slept fairly soundly - only one nightmare. Still woke up wishing I could keep sleeping (This is the feeling I hope eventually will go away)
Breakfast:
- Green Tea, Blueberry, Banana Smoothie
- Iron Pill
: This was more light feeling than the usual smoothie I make. Was feeling decently energetic (for me) by the time I got to work
Lunch:
- Chia Seed Pudding
- Raspberry Lime Puree
- Piece of home made granola bar
- 1 cookie
: Ate the cookie without thinking. Within the hour I felt a drop in energy - I think this is due to the gluten, but could be due to work stress or how hot the building was today.
Snack:
- Hummus
- Carrots
: Wasn't really hungry at this point, but I don't know if it's that my body doesn't know how to use it's stored energy or whatt, but if I don't eat every few hours my energy drops and I get a bit of a headache. Not sure if this would have happened today, but didn't want to take the chance.
Dinner:
- Re-fried rice with vegetables (mushrooms, onions, garlic, corn) and cheese
: I really enjoyed eating this. And it took some will power, but I didn't eat the readily available pasta my family had eaten for dinner. I just don't want to pay for it later. The last day I ate gluten I slept awful - so restless with tons of dreams and getting up to pee. Are they connected? Not 100 percent sure, but I can't take the chance.

- Earl Grey Tea with milk
- Cashew Chocolate frozen dessert

GF Test - Day 7
Breaky:
- PB Blueberry Smoothie
Lunch:
- Hummus
- Baby Carrots
- Potato salad
: I was SO hungry by lunch! Felt a bit of a lull in my energy during the afternoon.
Dinner:
-Bean and Rice 'taco' bowl
: Left me feeling satisfied and energetic.
Over all I feel less . . . puffy . . . on the days I eat gluten free - if that makes sense.
My sister's test came back - she absolutely has celiac disease, and the worst case this particular doctor had seen. He said it is very likely with such a bad case that more of her family members also have gluten intolerance. This give more validity to me giving up gluten
8:30pm - Snack
- 2 clementines
- Hot chocolate
: Cats really do hate the smell of orange peels . . .
Calories: 1,520
Bed: 11pm

11am - Breakfast

GF Test - Day 1
8 am - Breakfast:
- Blueberry Peanut butter smoothie
- Earl Grey Tea :)
Weather : Sunshine!
: How I felt : When I woke up this morning - I woke up exhausted even though I Had slept for 8 Hours. But as I got moving the Combination of smoothie and sunshine got me feeling good.
12 - 1 - Ice skating with the bro and sis
: I love skating. I find the rhythm soothing. It makes me feel the way I hear runners describe running - it clears my head and helps me focus.
2pm - Lunch
- Large McDonald's fries
- Earl Grey Tea
: Should have got a medium, but I was exceptionally hungry by this point. The sun had clouded over, and I was starting to feel tired - this may be due to the fact that I didn't take an iron pill this morning. . .
6pm - Dinner
- Turkey & tomato salad
- Grapes
: I felt really good while eating this dinner.
9pm - Snack
- Peanut macaroons
- Iron pill
: Probably didn't need to eat anything at this point, but my sweet tooth does act up. I also took my iron pill as my tiredness had reached the distracted and hard to focus phase. I really hope gluten is my problem on the one hand because I would really love to live this amazing life I hear of where people wake up not tired and don't want to sleep for 20 hours straight. But on the other hand I don't want to have a gluten sensitivity because I already miss pasta . . . and cake . . .
Calorie Intake : Approx. 1,800 (Goal is 1,500)
